The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi's international community is a unique blend of students, academicians and corporate and civic leaders from all fields of endeavor. Membership in Phi Kappa Phi recognizes and rewards academic success. That recognition doesn’t end after initiation. From their time in school to their professional career, Society members’ hard work continues to pay off and be acknowledged.

Phi Kappa Phi would like to congratulate these members on their recent achievements:

Mitchell Medland (University of Southern California) has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected based on current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all considered during the selection process.

Osayamen Aimuyo (The University of Texas at Dallas) was awarded National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Recipients of the Fellowship are selected based on strong academic achievement, demonstrated potential to advance knowledge through research, and a clear commitment to benefiting society through broader impacts such as outreach, leadership, or inclusivity, while also meeting basic eligibility requirements.

Philip Phillips (Middle Tennessee State University) received the 2025 Career Achievement Award. The award recognized Phillips’ decades-long dedication to education, mentorship, and service.

Taylor Raines (University of Florida) was nominated to join The National Society of Leadership and Success. To join society, students must be nominated or invited based on their academic performance or leadership potential and complete the organization’s leadership training program to become fully inducted members.

Anthony Waddle (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) named a global finalist for the 2025 Pritzker Emerging Environmental Genius Award. One of the most prestigious environmental honors, the award is the first major U.S. prize built to elevate the next generation of climate and conservation leaders. It recognizes those whose work weds measurable results to original thinking, and whose solutions are built to last.

Do you have an accomplishment you’d like to share? Email your member news to news@phikappaphi.org to be considered for inclusion.
