Michael Martin, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of English, Nicholls State University
Dr. Michael Martin, associate professor of English at Nicholls State University, is the recipient of Phi Kappa Phi's 2025 Mary Todd Sabbatical Award. Dr. Martin has served as Secretary of Phi Kappa Phi's Chapter #157 at Nicholls for the past two years. We are pleased to welcome Dr. Martin to Engage 2026, where he will share insights from his research, discuss his experience as a Sabbatical Award recipient, and reflect on the impact of Phi Kappa Phi membership and chapter involvement on his academic journey.
