The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi's international community is a unique blend of students, academicians, and corporate and civic leaders from all fields of endeavor. Membership in Phi Kappa Phi recognizes and rewards academic success. That recognition doesn’t end after initiation. From their time in school to their professional career, Society members’ hard work continues to pay off and be acknowledged.
Phi Kappa Phi would like to congratulate these members on their recent achievements:
Cailin Snider (Salisbury University) was named a recipient of the Barry Goldwater Scholarship. The Barry Goldwater Scholarship looks for students who demonstrate academic excellence, substantial research experience as reflected in their research essay, clearly defined career goals and professional aspirations, and a compelling personal background shaped by social or economic factors, along with notable achievements, recognitions, leadership qualities, and strong letters of recommendation.
Meg Caron (University of Maine) was named University of Maine 2025 Valedictorian. At the University of Maine, the Valedictorian is typically chosen based on having the highest cumulative GPA among graduating seniors, with additional consideration given to the rigor of coursework, academic honors, leadership, and community involvement, all evaluated up to the end of the fall semester before graduation.
Ellie Kaess (College of Charleston) and Camden White (College of Charleston) announced the winners of the College of Charleston EXPO 2025. The recipients are recognized for their presentations and quality of research in their disciplines.
Alexa Magstadt (The University of Kansas) named 2025 Barry M. Goldwater Scholar. The only students eligible for nomination are sophomore- and junior-level students with outstanding academic records, significant research experience and high potential for careers in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering.
Maricia Spence (Angelo State University) named a 2025 Holland's Awards Winner. Holland's Awards go to one student-athlete in each intercollegiate sport, as voted on by their teammates, who exemplifies what it means to be an ASU student-athlete in competition, in the classroom and in the community.
