GregoryAlison Gregory

Alison Gregory was a chartering member and the inaugural president of the Phi Kappa Phi chapter at Marymount University after serving as chapter president at Lycoming College, where she had been initiated as a student in 1997. Gregory currently serves as the divisional vice president for Division V. She holds a B.A. in history from Lycoming, an M.S. in library science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s in leadership and management from Marymount. Gregory serves as dean of libraries, assistant provost for special projects, and associate professor at Marymount, where she is also a member of the deans’ and provost’s councils and the president’s extended cabinet. In her previous position at Lycoming, she served as co-chair of a Middle States reaccreditation working group and chair of the faculty. She is a site visitor for SACSCOC, a peer reviewer for the Virginia Library Association College and Research Libraries conference, and is the board chair for the College Library Director Mentoring Program.
