With each edition of the Society's Forum magazine, "Forum 15" highlights elements of popular culture related to the theme. Our goal is to affirm that the ideas we discuss in Forum have a vivid presence in our daily lives – in the books we read, the shows we watch, the songs we sing, the movies we see, and the buildings we admire.
Forum’s spring 2026 issue will explore the experience of changes of mind, and the content will include “Forum 15,” our regular feature that lists neat works of culture related to our theme.
Do you know of a memorable book, movie, piece of music, or work of art that celebrates a change of mind? For Danny Heitman, a classic change-of-mind movie is “Driving Miss Daisy”, in which the title character at first regards her African American chauffeur with dismissive condescension, then comes to see his essential humanity. We’d love to get your suggestions for an upcoming feature in Forum’s spring 2026 issue. We can’t wait to hear your ideas.
Share your ideas in our members-only online community. We'll include as many ideas as we can in the spring Forum.
