The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi's international community is a unique blend of students, academicians, and corporate and civic leaders from all fields of endeavor. Membership in Phi Kappa Phi recognizes and rewards academic success. That recognition doesn’t end after initiation. From their time in school to their professional career, Society members’ hard work continues to pay off and be acknowledged. 

Phi Kappa Phi would like to congratulate these members on their recent achievements: 

Kallie Clifton (Oklahoma State University) received a $1,000 scholarship from the Ferguson College of Agriculture – Outstanding Transfer Student.  

Mary Ann Gosser-Esquilin (Florida Atlantic University) will be awarded the Degree of Difference award from the FAU National Alumni Association. Each year the award is given to one of the eight runners-up to the Distinguished Teacher of the Year award in recognition of their positive impact on and special contribution to their students. 

Noah H. Eggensperger (University of Arkansas at Little Rock) wrote a $5,000 grant to support an annual social work conference in Arkansas. 

Sarah Ann Rajala (North Carolina State University) was elected as the 2023-2024 ABET President-Elect. ABET is the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. 

Ellen Reynolds (University of Rhode Island) has been announced as the new vice president for student affairs following a nationwide search at the University of Rhode Island. 

Landon Scheel (Mississippi State University) received 3rd place for his work in Photography/Sports at the Southeast Journalism Conference.  

Guillermo Soto, Jr. (University of Arkansas at Little Rock) was chosen as the Business Student Ambassador at University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

 John Vile (Middle Tennessee State University)- recently wrote and published — “The Bald Eagle and Its Legacy: An Encyclopedia of a High-Flying American Icon in U.S. History: Nature, Law and Culture” and “The Drama of Presidential Inaugurations and Inaugural Addresses from Washington Through to Biden.”   

Stephen Wren (Arkansas State University) was appointed interim principal of St. Mary’s Catholic School by the Chancellor, Reverend Father Irion St. Romain, and confirmed by the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Alexandria, Mr. Tommy Roque.   

Emily Woods (Radford University)- recently won a Silver Addy for her work rebranding Lipton Tea that she produced last fall in her Packaging and 3D Design class.
