Phi Kappa Phi recently won four national awards for its marketing and publishing efforts at the 42nd Annual AM&P Network EXCEL Awards. The awards recognize excellence and leadership in nonprofit association media, publishing, marketing and communications.

Phi Kappa Phi has a tradition of winning EXCEL Awards for its quarterly magazine, the Phi Kappa Phi Forum, and this year was no different. The Forum's winter 2021 issue with a theme of "community" won a silver award in the “Magazine: Single Topic Issue” for publications with a circulation of 50,001 or more. In addition, the magazine received a bronze award in the “Pandemic Response: Dedicated Issue” category for the spring 2021 issue with a theme of “solitude.” This edition took a deeper look at solitude and its effect on us all.  You can read both editions in our Forum Archive.

The marketing department’s Excellence in Innovation Direct Mailer won a bronze award in the "Promotional Content: Direct Mail – Single Piece" category with its custom piece inviting universities to apply for the $100,000 Excellence in Innovation Award. To view the mailer, click here.

Also earning an award is the 2021 Excellence in Innovation Marketing Campaign. It received a silver award in the "Promotional Content: Advertising Campaign" category. This campaign included print pieces as well as digital communication to promote the award and highlighted the complete rebranding of the program. To view the campaign, click here.

The competition, which is open to nonprofit and for-profit associations, annually draws hundreds of contestants from around the nation. This year, 220 awards were presented across 83 categories. Learn more about AM&P and the EXCEL Awards at http://www.siia.net/excel.
