Up for Discussion: Conversations with Historical Figures

As we prepare the fall edition of the Phi Kappa Phi Forum, we're asking members to contribute their ideas to the theme of conversation. We enjoy reading your responses and will be choosing a sample to share in the magazine.

For 2022, each edition of Forum will center on a different theme beginning with reading, then continuing with writing, conversation and the art of speech. We welcome your feedback.

Who's the historical figure with whom you'd most want to have a conversation, and why? "I suppose Abraham Lincoln comes to mind for me because he seemed like such a complicated and gifted character," said Danny Heitman, Forum editor.

Share your response to our question by replying to this discussion in our online member community Link. Responses of no more than three or four sentences are recommended, and we look forward to reading your contributions. We'll publish some of your answers in the "Up for Discussion" feature of our fall magazine.

The community is available to active members only, and you will be required to log in with your Phi Kappa Phi credentials. For login assistance, email webmaster@phikappaphi.org.
