The latest edition of the Phi Kappa Phi Forum will be arriving in your mailbox soon. The fall edition's theme of "Family" continues our 2021 series, which began with solitude and will continue later this year with community. The featured stories, regular columnists, and even our custom crossword puzzles will all dive deeper into those ideas.

The feature articles in the fall edition discuss:

Ready, Set, Write – In a social media age, it can seem that many of us are writing more than ever. A new Forum column explores how to do it well.

All in the Family – In a life filled with dogs, CBS journalist Martha Teichner finds a rich circle of support.

Anyone Human Must Wonder – Horace Kephart ended up getting a mountain named after him. His wife, writes author and family descendant Beth Kephart, is worth remembering, too.

Remembering Aunt Flora – For poet and memoirist Catharine Savage Brosman, memories of an indefatigable relative have shaped her for a lifetime.

Family Dilemma – Naturalist Rick Bass ponders the problem of exposing children to natural wonders that might vanish within the youngsters' lifetimes.

As always, we welcome letters to the editor, member news, poetry submissions and story ideas for upcoming themes. Visit our Forum page to learn more.
