The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi's international community is a unique blend of students, academicians, and corporate and civic leaders from all fields of endeavor. Membership in Phi Kappa Phi recognizes and rewards academic success. That recognition doesn’t end after initiation. From their time in school to their professional career, Society members’ hard work continues to pay off and be acknowledged.

Phi Kappa Phi would like to congratulate these members on their recent achievements:

Gilbert Fowler (Arkansas University) was selected for the annual Distinguished Alumni Awards, which will be presented during Homecoming weekend. The Alumni Association's board of directors annually selects three award recipients from among nominations who display an excellent record of professional and civic achievements, as well as giving extraordinary and loyal support to Arkansas State University.

Sabine Franklin (University of South Florida) was awarded a 2022-23 American Postdoctoral Research Leave Fellowship. She is pursuing her fellowship at the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University.

Charles H. Harvey (Nova Southeastern University) has been appointed by the Governor of North Carolina as a member-at-large to the Piedmont Community College Board of Trustees in Person County, North Carolina. His committee duties include curriculum and instruction.

Tanae Lewis (North Carolina A&T State University) has made history as A&T’s first Goldwater Scholar to also be named an Astronaut Scholar – the first from a historically Black college or university to achieve this dual recognition. 

Nancy Landgraff and Sara Michaliszyn (Youngstown university) were both awarded College Appreciation Awards by the YSU Bitonte College of Health and Human Services and will be recognized at the college’s Alumni Recognition Dinner on Oct. 7.

The Troy University Sorrell College of Business and School of Accountancy celebrated Accountancy Day on September 8. The ceremony honored students as well as provided scholarships for students in the program. Phi Kappa Phi members who were honored are, Robert Deloach who received the PCAOB Scholars Award and Lauren Mynatt who received the Accountancy Day Sponsorship Award.
