The deadline to apply for a Love of Learning Award is fast approaching – June 30. These awards help fund post-baccalaureate professional development for active Phi Kappa Phi members to include (but not be limited to): Graduate or professional studies, doctoral dissertations, continuing education, career development, travel related to teaching/research/learning, etc.

Here are our top tips to make your application shine:

1. Make sure you’re eligible – Love of Learning awards provide funding for post-baccalaureates continuing their education and/or pursuing professional development opportunities. Learn more about the program details here.
2. Make it clear – Get personal and share your story. Let the committee know how this award will make an impact and help you further your goals.
3. Make it count – Share an itemized budget with the selection committee and show them how the $500 will ensure your success.
4. Make it a habit – Active members may receive a Love of Learning Award every other year. Let us continue to help you on your journey to excellence.
