Phi Kappa Phi invites dedicated and accomplished members to serve in national leadership roles that will help guide the Society into its next chapter.
As the Society continues to evolve, we are implementing thoughtful governance enhancements to strengthen board capacity, expand member engagement, and ensure long-term success. These changes reflect extensive member feedback and a commitment to excellence, transparency, and stewardship.
Due to the transition to a new governance model with staggered board terms, most positions are not open this year. However, members are encouraged to get involved through the opportunities outlined below, including submitting expressions
of interest for future service. Chapters are encouraged to recommend qualified members for future Board service.

The Undergraduate Student Representative serves as a voting member of the national Board of Directors and represents student perspectives. This is a one-year term and requires current undergraduate student status for part of the service period.

Due to 2026 being a transition election year as the staggered board terms are implemented, most Board leadership positions will reopen in future election cycles. To help build a strong leadership pipeline, Phi Kappa Phi encourages members interested in future service to submit an Expression of Interest now.
Every two years a President-Elect is elected. Starting in 2027, approximately one-third of Directors are elected each year. Student Representatives are elected annually.
