Top Fellowship Bios
Phi Kappa Phi is proud to present the 2026 Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship recipients. The Society awards two Fellowships of $35,000 each, six at $15,000 each, and forty of $8,500 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Each active Phi Kappa Phi chapter may select one candidate from among its local applicants to compete for the Society-wide awards.

Rishabh Sen
Nominating Chapter: Ithaca College

Rishabh Sen has been named the 1897 Fellow by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Sen completed his undergraduate work at Ithaca College, earning a bachelor's degree in chemistry with a minor in computer science. As an undergraduate, he conducted cancer research focused on the protein BPTF, completed an honors thesis on the topic, and demonstrated exceptional leadership through student government and community service. He will pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Minnesota.

Grace Spaulding

Grace Spaulding has been named the Sherrill Carlson Fellow by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Spaulding completed her undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning a bachelor's degree in art history. Her academic work combined art history, medical humanities, and archival research, culminating in a capstone thesis on medical illustration while remaining active in honors programming, exhibitions, and community service. She will pursue a Ph.D. in history at the University of Illinois.

John Grady Anderson has been named a Marcus L. Urann Fellow by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Anderson completed his undergraduate work at Florida State University, earning bachelor's degrees in political science and interdisciplinary social sciences. His undergraduate research focused on partisan politics through the University Honors Program, complemented by research assistantships, student government leadership, and legislative service. He will pursue a Ph.D. in political science at the University of Chicago.

Netta Blinchevsky has been named a Marcus L. Urann Fellow by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Blinchevsky completed her undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. Recognized as a Distinguished College Scholar, she built an outstanding record of neuroscience research and academic achievement before choosing to attend the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin to pursue her medical degree.

James Perdue

James Perdue has been named the Alice and Russell True Foundation Fellow by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Perdue completed his undergraduate work at Mississippi State University, earning a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. His undergraduate research in atomic clocks, combined with leadership in engineering organizations and recognition as a Goldwater Scholar, prepared him for advanced study. He will pursue graduate studies at the University of Cambridge.
Erin Suh

Erin Suh has been named a Marcus L. Urann Fellow by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Suh completed her undergraduate work at the University of Georgia, earning a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. Her undergraduate experience combined scientific research, global study, teaching, community leadership, and musical excellence while maintaining a perfect academic record. She will pursue graduate medical studies in the United States.
Brandon Tran

Brandon Hieu Tran has been named a Marcus L. Urann Fellow by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Tran completed his undergraduate work at the United States Military Academy, earning a bachelor's degree in international affairs and Chinese. His undergraduate experience included leadership within the Corps of Cadets, research in Holocaust and Asian security studies, study abroad in Taiwan, and numerous scholarly publications. As a Rhodes Scholar, he will pursue graduate study at the University of Oxford.
