2020 Biennial Convention

FocusOnExcellence_logoDue to the circumstances created by the coronavirus COVID-19, the 2020 biennial convention was not held in-person as scheduled, Aug. 6-8 in Columbus, Ohio. Phi Kappa Phi’s priority is the health and safety of its members, chapter officers, staff, volunteers and vendors. While we are disappointed that we could not gather together in Columbus, we look forward to seeing everyone at the 2022 convention in New Orleans.

Convention Voting

Elections for the 2020-2022 board of directors were conducted electronically from Monday, Aug. 3 through Thursday, Aug. 6. Chapter delegates were sent voting instructions and asked to review the 2020-2022 slate of nominees in advance. The final results are available at this link.

"Higher Education and the 2020 Election”

We’re pleased to announce that one of our 2020 convention speakers, White House correspondent Paul Brandus, agreed to host a live webinar to discuss “Higher Education and the 2020 Election.”

Watch Brandus and Dr. Mary Todd, executive director of Phi Kappa Phi, as they take a look at the upcoming 2020 election, its impact on higher education, what it's like to report on the White House in D.C., and more during their Aug. 5 discussion.
