The latest edition of the Phi Kappa Phi Forum will be arriving in your mailbox soon. Our themes for each Forum issue in 2025 will focus on aspects of travel, with the spring edition's theme being "The Joy of Walking". The featured stories, regular columnists, and even our custom crossword puzzle will all dive deeper into that idea.

The feature articles discuss:

Walking With Henry - Following in Henry David Thoreau’s footsteps, biographer Laura Dassow Walls connected with the joys of being on foot.

Happy Feet - For longtime outdoorsman Bill Heavey, good boots are the key to success.

‘Walk And Walk And Walk’ - For writer Pico Iyer, the best way to understand new places is often on foot.

Sidewalk Nature - Even on city strolls, author Joanna Brichetto connects with natural wonders.

Walking To The Point - A famous lighthouse in writer Margot Anne Kelley’s neighborhood draws walkers from everywhere.

Page Turner - While reading and walking, book lover Cynthia Reed got a lively surprise.

As always, we welcome letters to the editor, member news, poetry submissions and story ideas for upcoming themes. Visit www.phikappaphi.org/Forum to learn more.
