Are you ready to apply for your share of the more than $1 million Phi Kappa Phi's award programs distribute to students and professionals each year? Make sure you're ready to submit the best application possible to come out on top. From a $1,000 Love of Learning Award to a $35,000 Fellowship, choose the award that is right for you and follow these steps to maximize your chances!

Make Sure You Are Eligible

After deciding which award suits your needs, carefully read through the eligibility requirements to make sure you qualify. If the award you're applying for is only available to active Society members, click here to log in and verify that your membership is current.

Take Advantage of Our Resources

The FAQs and supporting documents provide tailored advice for every award. You can also learn from past recipients by checking out their bios, summaries, and even examples of winning applications. Let these resources inspire and guide your journey.

Find Help on Your Campus

Your campus can be a treasure trove of support! Reach out to your scholarship office for guidance through the application process. Additionally, your local Phi Kappa Phi officers are also a great resource. You can reach out to your chapter's officers for help with your submission even if you are no longer on campus.

Highlight Your Achievements

Now is the time to shine! Share your unique story, passions, and goals. Highlight your accomplishments and explain how this award will help you achieve even more. Don’t just talk about your past—share your vision for the future. The awards committee wants to see what makes you special and how this award will propel you forward.

Choose Strong Endorsements

Strong letters of recommendation can make a significant difference. Choose mentors who know you well and can speak passionately about your qualifications. Keep them informed about the award details and ensure they submit their letters on time. Early and frequent communication with your recommenders is key.

Stay on Top of Deadlines

Deadlines are crucial! Each award has its specific deadline, so double-check to stay organized. If you're applying for a Fellowship, remember your local chapter will have its own submission deadline before forwarding applications to the national level. Click here to find your chapter’s contact information and stay ahead of the timeline.
