With each edition of the Society's Forum magazine, "Forum 15" highlights elements of popular culture related to the theme. Our goal is to affirm that the ideas we discuss in Forum have a vivid presence in our daily lives – in the books we read, the shows we watch, the songs we sing, the movies we see, and the buildings we admire.

Forum’s spring 2025 issue will explore the joys of walking, and the content will include “Forum 15,” our regular feature that lists neat works of culture related to our theme.  Do you know of a great book, movie, sculpture, painting, book, or song that celebrates walking?  Mention walking, for Danny Heitman, Forum editor, his thoughts quickly turn to A Walk in the Woods, Bill Bryson’s hilarious account of his misadventures with a hapless friend while hiking the Appalachian Trail. What creative works do you think of in connection with walking. Share your thoughts, and let’s all learn from each other.
