Deadline to guarantee that your certificate will be at the ceremony.

March 27

Initiation Ceremony
UNT The Forum in Willis Library
Check in: 5:30 p.m.
Begins: 6:00 p.m.

If you do not attend the ceremony: Please pick up your certificate, pin and new member packet from the UNT Honors College Advising office, Sage Hall 229. These items will not be mailed to you.

August 28

The access code will expire and online registration will close at 11:59 p.m. CST on August 28. Inquiries about accepting membership after this date should be directed to Diana.Dunklau@unt.edu

Phi Kappa Phi Facts

Phi Kappa Phi provides $1.4 million in awards each biennium to outstanding students and members.

Membership is by invitation to the top juniors, seniors and graduate students who meet specific eligibility criteria at member-campuses. Faculty, professional staff, and alumni also may be eligible for membership. For further details, click here.

Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, Phi Kappa Phi was created to honor excellence in all academic disciplines.

The Society's motto is "Let the love of learning rule humanity."

Notable alumni include former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, best-selling novelist John Grisham, Grammy Award-winning soprano Renée Fleming, YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, and NASA astronaut Wendy Lawrence.
