How did you become involved as a chapter officer? I was one of the leads on the petition for a chapter, and initiated the petition after discussions with Dr. Mary Todd on alignment of Phi Kappa Phi with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

What has your chapter done that has made you proud? Our first book drive, focused on restoring Mosul library in Iraq (read about the drive here). One of first initiates, James Gulliksen led this, and even after graduation, is working to sort and pack books and secure shipment. He was recognized for his service, leadership, and scholarship with our first Phi Kappa Phi Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Student Top Scholar Award.

What does Phi Kappa Phi mean to you? Dedication to scholarship in all disciplines and service linked to scholarship

What do you enjoy most about being a chapter officer?
Working with the students and faculty as we develop our new chapter

What advice would you give to a new chapter officer? Start small, identify dedicated officers, work to promote benefits of membership to students

What are your hobbies? Hiking and exploring new places with my family and friends

Where are you from? St. Louis, MO
