Join us in Atlanta for the 2016 Phi Kappa Phi Biennial Convention! Board members will be elected by delegates to the 2016 Convention, where the Society will celebrate excellence, conduct governance, and discuss higher education. Among the highlights of the convention will be a speech from the recipient of the Society’s first-ever $100,000 Excellence in Innovation Award.
Build in some extra time to enjoy Atlanta attractions including the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, CNN Center, High Museum of Art, Fox Theatre, World of Coca-Cola, Turner Field and more!
Registration will open in early spring 2016. Phi Kappa Phi chapters should make plans now to designate a delegate to the Convention. The appropriate delegate is one who will be a chapter leader during the 2016-2017 academic year and can help implement the ideas learned at convention.
Nominations for the board of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi will be accepted through February 1. Society members can serve a two-year term in one of nine positions: president-elect, vice president of chapter development, five directors and two student representatives. At the 2014 convention, Society members voted to reduce the board by four to these offices, effective with the 2016 election.
Candidate materials and position descriptions will be available soon.
