2020 Dates to Remember

Due to the recent developments of COVID-19, UMGC’s Phi Kappa Phi Chapter will be cancelling our in-person Initiation Ceremony that was scheduled for April 29, 2020 in our Largo Auditorium. Instead, our Chapter will be holding a Virtual Initiation Ceremony on April 29, 2020. Please do not arrive to the Largo Auditorium on this date, as the Auditorium will be closed. A link to join the Virtual Ceremony will be shared with all students who join online by April 28.

Since we are no longer hosting an in-person Initiation Ceremony, payment for additional meal tickets is no longer required. If you have purchased additional tickets, you will be reimbursed. Please let us know how you paid for additional tickets (either via the Honor Society website during time of registration OR via check mailed to UMGC's Largo address), so we may confirm that payment was received.

Your certificate, pin, and medallion will be mailed after the ceremony, to the mailing address we have on file for you. You can wear your medallion to Commencement. The deadline to register online to become a member is now April 30, 2020.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. Our Phi Kappa Phi Committee wishes health and safety to all of you. We hope to “see” you during our Virtual Initiation Ceremony on April 29, 2020.

April 30

The access code will expire and online registration will close at 11:59 p.m. CST on April 30. If you miss the deadline, please email any questions about late registration to
