2020 Dates to Remember

Due to COVID-19, the officers of the Tennessee Technological University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi have elected to cancel the initiation ceremony originally scheduled for April 28. Students may continue to join the Society via the link provided in your original invitation until June 30th. The Society will refund any guest fees paid for the ceremony if applicable.

Phi Kappa Phi Facts

Phi Kappa Phi provides nearly $1 million in awards each year to outstanding students and members.

Membership is by invitation to the top juniors, seniors and graduate students who meet specific eligibility criteria at member-campuses. Faculty, professional staff, and alumni also may be eligible for membership. For further details, click here.

Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, Phi Kappa Phi was created to honor excellence in all academic disciplines.

The Society's motto is "Let the love of learning rule humanity."

Notable alumni include former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, best-selling novelist John Grisham, Grammy Award-winning soprano Renée Fleming, YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, and NASA astronaut Wendy Lawrence.
