2020 Dates to Remember

Plymouth State University will not host a ceremony this semester. This is an enrollment period only. Your certificate and pin will be shipped to your home address.

June 30

The access code will expire and online registration will close at 11:59 p.m. CST on June 30. Inquiries about accepting membership after this date should be directed to Ann Thurston.

Phi Kappa Phi Facts

Phi Kappa Phi provides nearly $1 million in awards each year to outstanding students and members.

Membership is by invitation to the top juniors, seniors and graduate students who meet specific eligibility criteria at member-campuses. Faculty, professional staff, and alumni also may be eligible for membership. For further details, click here.

Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, Phi Kappa Phi was created to honor excellence in all academic disciplines.

The Society's motto is "Let the love of learning rule humanity."

Notable alumni include former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, best-selling novelist John Grisham, Grammy Award-winning soprano Renée Fleming, YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, and NASA astronaut Wendy Lawrence.

Phi Kappa Phi hosts chapters at more than 325 colleges and universities in the U.S. and the Philippines.
