Phi Kappa Phi Scholar & Artist Recipients

The Phi Kappa Phi Scholar Award and Phi Kappa Phi Artist Award honor those individuals who demonstrate the ideals of the Society through their activities, achievements, and scholarship. 

First presented in 1974, the Scholar Award recognizes excellence in teaching, research, and public service. In 1983, the Artist Award was established to recognize the achievements of those who, in addition to their outstanding scholarship, have displayed talents in the broad realm of the arts–creative, graphic, performing, visual, and/or fine arts.

2024-2026 Phi Kappa Phi Scholar

Initiated at University of South Florida in 2002

James Stock, currently holding the Monica Wooden Endowed Professorship in Supply Chain Management at the Muma College of Business, University of South Florida, is the 2024-2026 Phi Kappa Phi Scholar.

This prestigious recognition acknowledges his outstanding expertise and significant contributions to the field of logistics and supply chain management.

Stock received his doctorate degree from The Ohio State University and his master’s degree and bachelor’s degrees from The University of Miami.

2024-2026 Phi Kappa Phi Artist

Stella Roden

Stella Roden
Initiated at University of Central Missouri in 2013

Stella Roden, a distinguished professor of music at the University of Central Missouri, is the 2024-2026 Phi Kappa Phi Artist. Roden received this award for her career accomplishment as a musician.

Roden received her doctorate in musical arts, vocal performance from the University of Connecticut, her master’s degree in music, vocal performance from the New England Conservatory and her bachelor’s degree in music education from James Madison University.

Her captivating performances have impressed audiences across the globe, from Kansas City, Missouri to Barcelona, Spain, showcasing her immense talent and artistry on both national and international stages.
