Congratulations to Phi Kappa Phi member Sydney Stanard from the University of Mississippi for receiving one of three $2,500 scholarships from DCInternships. Sponsored by The Fund of American Studies, the Washington, D.C.-based internship programs include academic credit through George Mason University, an internship placement and furnished housing.
In addition to courses and internships, students who enroll in the DCInternships program are able to participate in a mentor program, professional development seminars, roundtable discussions, networking receptions with program alumni, as well as site briefings at some of the city’s most influential institutions and organizations.
