See You in Atlanta!

Jul 25, 2016

blog-palletStaff from Society Headquarters will head to Atlanta, Ga., tomorrow, July 26, to prepare for the 2016 Phi Kappa Phi Convention! The Convention, themed Educate. Innovate. Elevate, marks the 44th gathering since the Society’s founding in 1897 at the University of Maine. Chapter officers, students and members from institutions across the nation will convene for three days of networking, learning and sharing.

Taking place Friday and Saturday, the Convention boasts an exciting agenda including a keynote address from Buck Goldstein, co-author of Engines of Innovation—The Entrepreneurial University in the 21st Century, a plenary address from leadership specialist Lou Heckler, a panel discussion with three university provosts, presentation of the Society’s first-ever $100,000 Excellence in Innovation Award and much more. In addition, the 2016-2018 Board of Directors and Regional Vice Presidents will be elected during the Convention. (See the Slate of Candidates here.)

And if that’s not enough, Partnering for Success, which precedes the two-day Convention, will provide 200 chapter officers from across the nation with best practices and strategies for enhancing Phi Kappa Phi chapters.

Stay tuned for all Convention happenings to be posted here on the Phi Kappa Phi blog and our social media channels.

And for those heading to Atlanta, we’ll see you there!
