The Fund for American Studies
Explore a new city, gain professional experience, and grow your network in Washington, D.C. The Summer 2021 TFAS Academic Internship Program will take place June 5 through July 30. The eight-week summer program includes:

• Internship placement in Washington, D.C.
• Academic credit from George Mason University.
• Housing in furnished apartments in downtown Washington.
• Guest lectures and briefings, as well as opportunities for professional development and networking.

Washington Internship Institute
Capitalize on your potential with the WII. A wide variety of internships are available in settings such as federal agencies, Congressional offices, embassies, businesses and a variety of nonprofit and advocacy organizations. And two courses—the Core Course and the Internship Seminar—are designed to enhance your internship experience and your future career.

The deadline to apply for the Summer 2021 program is March 15 and the Fall 2021 deadline is May 14. Our members are eligible to receive a $500 scholarship from WII.
