Graduate Student Representative

Alex Shayan Shantiai

Alex Shayan Shantiai is a Pharm D candidate at the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy. He holds a BS in biological sciences from Florida International University and a post-baccalaureate degree from Miami Dade Community College.

He’s the president of his pharmacy school class and is a member of Phi Lambda Sigma, a pharmacy honor society, as well as Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity.  Shantiai has volunteered with numerous pharmacy-related initiatives, including health fairs, poison prevention, and Script Your Challenge, a national effort to encourage patients to regularly take their medications.
