Cluster meetings by definition are gatherings of chapters which are in close proximity of one another and where chapter officers can drive in for the day or a portion of the day to discuss chapter operations, new Society benefits and any chapter concerns. (Driving time should be no more than 2-3 hours.) These meetings are usually informal in nature and with emphasis on participant sharing.
There is no registration fee for participation in a cluster meeting. The day typically begins with informal time over coffee and snacks. Headquarters provides lunch for the participants and will reimburse the participants for mileage. Chapters are encouraged to bring as many officers as possible to these meetings.
The host chapter is asked to provide a convenient meeting place on campus with no, or little, charge for use. The host chapter will make recommendations and help the Headquarters staff representative choose the lunch, will arrange to have it delivered and have it billed to the Headquarters staff representative when possible.
