Dr. Yaw A. Asamoah is Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He earned a B.A. of Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Asamoah was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi in 1995 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has since played an active leadership role in the Society, including serving a term as Northeast Region Vice President from 2007-2010 and president of the IUP chapter from 2000-2002.
