Mark Davis

Dr. Mark Davis is chair of the department of Behavioral Sciences and an assistant professor of psychology at The University of West Alabama. Davis teaches social psychology, learning and motivation, experimental psychology and psychopharmacology courses. His research interests focus on intergroup relations, emotion, psychophysiology and substance abuse.

Inducted into Phi Kappa Phi in 1998 at Western Washington University, Davis serves as regional vice president on the Society’s Chapter Relations Committee working with officers and students to strengthen chapters in the Southeast region. Throughout the past five years, Davis has served as president and president-elect for the UWA chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.

Davis holds a bachelor’s in psychology from WWU and both his master’s in experimental psychology and Ph.D. in social psychology from New Mexico State University.
