Mr. Jeffry Harrison, a senior business administration major at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, was selected as a Vice President for Students for The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Harrison was elected by his peers on the organization’s first Council of Students, an advisory panel for the Society that was established in 2010 to involve the lifeblood of Phi Kappa Phi in issues of governance.

“It feels so incredible to be a part of history,” said Harrison. “I hope to bring a student’s perspective and energy to the board,” he said, citing increasing enrollment, promotions and networking as some objectives.

As Vice President for Students, Harrison will serve for two years on the Society’s national board of directors, co-chair the Council of Students and help lead the Society’s efforts with current and prospective student-members.
