Initiation Ceremony
Frank Center Theater
Check in: 3:30 p.m.
Begins: 4:00 p.m.
Guests: You are welcome to invite up to 4 guests

If you do not attend the ceremony: After April 10th, please pick up your certificate, pin and cord from the Frank Center, Room 111. These items will not be mailed to you.

Phi Kappa Phi Facts

Phi Kappa Phi provides $1.4 million in awards each biennium to outstanding students and members.

Membership is by invitation to the top juniors, seniors and graduate students who meet specific eligibility criteria at member-campuses. Faculty, professional staff, and alumni also may be eligible for membership. For further details, click here.

Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, Phi Kappa Phi was created to honor excellence in all academic disciplines.

The Society's motto is "Let the love of learning rule humanity."

Notable alumni include former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, best-selling novelist John Grisham, Grammy Award-winning soprano Renée Fleming, YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, and NASA astronaut Wendy Lawrence.

Phi Kappa Phi hosts chapters at more than 325 colleges and universities in the U.S. and the Philippines.
