Internship Opportunities Now Available

Phi Kappa Phi has partnered with the Washington Internship Institute and DCInternships to provide members the opportunity to apply for scholarships worth up to $2,500 toward their internship programs. These programs provide individuals with opportunities to explore career options while also enhancing leadership development potential.

Members are invited to apply for the DCInternships summer and semester programs based in Washington, D.C. Sponsored by The Fund of American Studies, each program includes academic credit through George Mason University, an internship placement, furnished housing, guest lectures and site briefings as well as professional development and networking events.

Active members are eligible to receive one of three $2,500 scholarships each program cycle. Members not selected for one of the three scholarships will be reviewed for awards from The Fund for American Studies' general scholarship fund. The Washington Internship Institute’s semester-long academic internship program is designed to provide students with practical, hands-on experience and academically rigorous courses emphasizing public service, leadership and professional development. Students from every field of study have successfully participated in rewarding internships that have helped them focus on and further their career goals.
