Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine and headquartered in Baton Rouge, La., Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline honor society. The Society has chapters on more than 300 college and university campuses in North America and the Philippines. Each year, Phi Kappa Phi inducts approximately 30,000 students, faculty and staff on its chapter campuses. The mission of the Society is "To recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others."

Apply Now! 2019 Phi Kappa Phi Awards

Applications are now available for the 2019 Phi Kappa Phi award programs. Each year, the Society awards nearly $1 million to outstanding students and members through its award programs. The awards provide everything from $35,000 Fellowships for graduate study to $500 Love of Learning awards for continuing education and professional development.

New this year, Phi Kappa Phi has announced an expansion of its Fellowship Program from a total distribution of $345,000 each year to $615,000. Read more about the increased funding here.
