Phi Kappa Phi was recently awarded three EXCEL Awards from Association Media & Publishing (AM&P). The Society was recognized at the 37th Annual EXCEL Awards Gala on Monday, June 26, in Arlington, Virginia. The awards recognize excellence and leadership in nonprofit association media, publishing, marketing and communications.

Phi Kappa Phi received the Gold Award in the promotional membership brochure category for its Make the Most of Your Membership guide. The guide was created as a resource for new members and showcases the variety of benefits available as part of membership in Phi Kappa Phi.

In addition, the Society’s quarterly magazine, Phi Kappa Phi Forum, garnered two Bronze Awards—one for magazine design excellence and one for magazine redesign. After months of planning last year, Phi Kappa Phi unveiled a new design and layout of the Forum with its Spring 2016 issue. If you haven’t already, check out the new look here.

The EXCEL competition saw nearly 830 entries in seven categories ranging from magazines and journals to digital and promotional content. From all entries, 235 were selected as finalists to receive gold, silver or bronze in each category. Click here to see the full list of finalists.
