Nearly half a century has passed since her death, but Mary Flannery O''Connor continues to be regarded as an important voice in American literature. With stories such as "A Good Man is Hard to Find" to her credit, O''Connor''s work exemplifies the Southern Gothic style and confronts readers with grotesque characters mired in moral and ethical dilemmas. Georgia College & State University''s most famous student, Flannery O''Connor, was inducted posthumously by the school''s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi on _________. From the Flannery O’Connor Collection in the Library to the Flannery O''Connor Room in the Museum, she continues to have a large presence on campus. Additionally, students currently at Georgia College make an annual trip to O''Connor''s home in nearby Andalusia, where they further examine her life and work. A quote from a chapter officer would be a nice addition. For more information, please see Georgia College & State University.
