UW-Green Bay Hosts Academic Excellence Symposium

Thursday, April 16, 2009

On April 8, 2009, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay held the 8th annual Academic Excellence Symposium. Sponsored by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and the Office of the Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences, this event gives undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to display outstanding scholarly and creative work.

Exemplifying achievement across all fields of study, the Academic Excellence Symposium presents a natural point of convergence for the nation''s oldest, largest and most selective all-discipline honor society. Interim Chancellor David J. Ward recognized the event as "an annual showcase for the work of UW-Green Bay''s best, brightest and most creative students." With 48 exhibits ranging from arts and science entries to education entries to musical performances, the Academic Excellence Symposium celebrates outstanding scholarly and creative work.
