Board Bios

Ray J. Davis, Ph.D.
Vice President, Southeast Region

Dr. Ray J. Davis is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in the School of Technology at North Carolina A&T University. Dr. Davis earned a B.A. in Industrial Arts Education at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial Technology Education at The Ohio State University. He is the author of numerous papers, reports, and presentations and has secured more than $1.5 million in grant funding. He was initiated into Phi Kappa Phi in 1972 at the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Davis served as chapter president and chapter past president at North Carolina A&T University from 2003-2007, and he served on the national Promotion of Excellence Grant Selection Committee from 2004-2006. As Vice President for the Southeast Region, Dr. Davis will serve on the Chapter Relations Committee and will work with chapter officers to help strengthen chapters in the southeast region.
