Trish Kalivoda |
Dr. Trish L. Kalivoda retired in December 2012 with 30 years of service from the University of Georgia (UGA). Prior to her retirement she was the senior associate vice president for public service and outreach at UGA and editor of the Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement. As part of her work in UGA’s Office of the Vice President, Kalivoda developed and implemented programs and activities to support faculty member scholarship of engagement and engaged research. She was an adjunct faculty member in the university’s Institute of Higher Education and a founding member of UGA’s Teaching Academy. Initiated into Phi Kappa Phi in 1993 at UGA, Kalivoda serves on the Society’s national board as vice president at large. Kalivoda served as president for the University of Georgia’s Phi Kappa Phi chapter from 2005-2007. In addition, she has served on the chapter’s executive committee since 2003. Kalivoda earned a bachelor’s degree in language education, an MBA with a concentration in finance, and a doctorate in higher education with a concentration in faculty development from UGA. |
